The title stands for Concussion, Inflammation, Mortality (the names of the tracks), which is a little bit odd considering the music, but oh well. The six tracks range from delicate percussive techno and glitch (somewhere in the neighborhood of autechre) to improvised experimental noise performed on his stringboard (a homemade instrument).Noisepoetnobody has a consummate sense of timing and rhythm, and knows how to leave some breathing room in his work. You won’t find any heavy dancefloor beats or screaming vocals here – this is meant to be listened to carefully. I would definitely recommend it.
