Post Recommend a currect CD replication service?
So in the past I have used Music Boot Camp but it seems Jer is out of the business on that end now. He recommended me to another company but no one Ive heard of so Im a wee wary. Anyone have any recommendations? This is mainly for a replicated run of a 1000 CD's... MAYBE some vinyl.

sorry, haven't run 1000 CDs in ... forever... never ran vinyl. Do people buy CDs still? I barely sell any, but downloads are selling

I was thinking about not pressing BUT the art is a big deal for this release AND nobody that I know of periodical wise (print or web) review downloads. without any viable press like reviews I'm a bit at a loss of how to gain any exposure. how are you getting news eyes on your digital releases and are you getting any reviews or press?

Haven't gotten reviews or press lately, but I do short runs, lately with kunaki (lowest price not many options). I did send a few out for review/ djs and got no complaints re: cdr. I still think that is the best option nowadays. ( and kunaki drop ships overseas cheaper than I can do it. USA I can still do cheaper)

The dubstep/darkhop compilation is selling itself, the "dubstep" tag probably brings em to me without any work...its all the rage...

We still use cd for promotion. We use a local company in Silicon Valley called New Cyberian, http://www.newcyberian.com. They have a promo deal with 1,000 pressed cd for $350, including paper sleeve.
